Urban Scholarship Program
The Nat Moore Foundation’s Urban Scholarship Program awards $10,000 scholarships ($2,500 per year for 4 years) to extraordinary, disadvantaged, high school seniors from South Florida.
SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION DEADLINE: JANUARY 31ST OF EACH YEAR!
Eligible students must:
- Be graduating from a South Florida high school.
- Plan to attend an accredited 2-year or 4-year college, university, or a technical school.
- Come from a low-income or disadvantaged family, or can demonstrate financial need.
- Have a minimum non-weighted GPA of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Demonstrate his/her commitment to community service.

Since 1998, the Foundation’s Urban Scholarship Program has awarded sixty (60) scholarships, with scholars studying at colleges and universities across the United States. Click here to see the list of students who have received scholarships directly through the Urban Scholarship Program.
On occasion, the Foundation also administers special scholarships, made possible by corporate and community partners. The Foundation announces those scholarships as the opportunity arises.
