Birdies for Charity
The South Florida Golf Association invites you to participate in the Birdies for Charity Program where you have the opportunity to win $1,000 while supporting Communities In Schools of Miami. Last year's winner was one of our very own supporters, and we hope that it will be the same this year.
All you need to do is guess the numbers of birdies during the 2009 PGA Tour in Miami, FL. You could make a per birdie pledge or a flat amount. If you guess the actual number of birdies, you will win $1,000 or be one of 30 randomly selected winners of additional prizes. 100% of all the pledges and donations made on behalf of Communities In Schools of Miami, Inc. Birdie #67 will come back to us with an additional 10% match from the SFGF.
Birdies for Charity® is a fundraising program designed to give participating charities the opportunity to generate contributions for their organization based on the number of Birdies made by the tournament professional players during the WGC - CA Championship. In golf, a "Birdie" is a score of one stroke under "Par" for any golf hole on any course. "Par" is the normal expected score a golf professional will make on any hole. Participants collect pledges, much like a walk-a-thon, based on how many Birdies the tournament professionals will make during the four days of competition play.
Please make your pledge now by using the Printable Electronic Form. Make checks payable to South Florida Golf Foundation with a memo for Birdies #67. Please complete the form and mail it back to the Nat Moore Foundation 16911 NE 6th Avenue North Miami Beach, FL 33162. The winners will be announced after the SFGA Golf Tournament, March 12-15, 2009.
Good luck in guessing the # of birdies, and thank you for your kind support.
